Robert Gore brings decades of experience in finance, market analysis, and independent writing. After starting his career trading municipal bonds in San Francisco and Los Angeles, he quickly moved into leadership roles, becoming one of the youngest partners in his firm’s history and running a consistently profitable fixed-income division serving high-net-worth clients across Southern California.

In 2006, he became an early voice warning of a looming housing and financial crisis and built a proprietary trading desk that helped protect client portfolios when the downturn hit. Over the years, he appeared on television and radio as an expert on fixed-income markets and was quoted in major outlets including the Los Angeles Times, the Orange County Register, and the Financial Times. He retired from finance in 2012.

Since 2014, Gore has published political and economic commentary on his platform Straight Line Logic. His work has been featured on The Savvy Street, Zero Hedge, David Stockman’s Contra Corner, Lew Rockwell, The Automatic Earth, The Burning Platform, and Western Rifle Shooters Association.
